This is just a bad idea

Joanne Baines is a compulsive typer and cannot be stopped by any means other than violence.  She listens to music and types all day and all night and if you don’t see the type, know that someone else is falling victim to it.

She has a vintage iPhone which she still thinks is magic but  uses it to dial only when she’s drunk.  Don’t call her, she won’t answer.

She is typing this now and really adores speaking in the 3rd person. But only in short spurts.

I have a dog that is my constant companion.

He’s an American Pit Bull Terrier that I inherited when he was 9 months old from one of the most beloved people in my life.  I cannot tell you how much I love this dog.  He’s smart, loyal, always game and has exquisite manners.  We go to restaurants and he is always invited back.

Yes, I’m married to a handsome, handy and loving husband, I like to call him Eddie,  and have 2 gorgeous and brilliant children, Alexandra and Colin.   But who’s photo is in my wallet?  You’re lookin’ at him.

I’ve been published in various now defunct literary journals and I’m sure that I’ll be published again.  The main thing is that writing has saved my soul, introduced me to people that I love,  opened doors that  seemed very locked and lead me to places that I didn’t know existed.  Like it or not, I’ll keep doing it.

I’ve been through a number of iterations;   record store employee, Avon Lady, secretary, poet, bookkeeper, jewelry maker, kitchen witch, network administrator, pornographer, photographer,  internet architect.  At this moment in time I do not know what I am.  I guess we’ll find out.  You can find my resume here if you’re interested in the gory details.
